Currently working FT in Internal Medicine with WH. Serving my community, advocating for my patients, always learning from them. ______________________________________With CRISPR Therapeutics I was responsible for serving as an expert in clinical trial case management for patients participating in immune-oncology clinical trials and ensured that the integrity and quality of clinical trials was conducted in accordance with study protocols. Provided highly specialized training, education, and teaching to approximately 15 investigative sites (national & international) enrolled in clinical trials per the study protocols to ensure understanding of proper medication, investigation product handling, and storage of medical/trial supplies based on guidelines provided by the study protocol and the Clinical Trials teams. Took on managerial role of two studies in January 2022.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have an extensive clinical laboratory background in hematology/ coagulation, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking. I also would act as interim lab supervisor when the lead was out and would oversee that protocols and quality control measures were being met. As a nurse practitioner, I have a well rounded experience in primary care, managing various geriatric long term care facilities, doing home visits during COVID-19, and seeing patients via telemedicine. With my Bachelor of Science in Nursing I worked in a cardiac telemetry unit, adult ER, home health, school nursing, and pediatric urgent care. To keep up with my APRN licensure and skills, I also work part time in an urgent care setting as a nurse practitioner in my community where I see your typical URI (Upper Respiratory Infection), sprains, cuts that need sutures, to cases where patients need to be evaluated in the emergency room setting for continuity of care. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My education: Master of Science in Nursing , Family Nurse Practitioner specialty route, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am proud to be a patient advocate as a nurse practitioner, as a nurse, and as a clinical laboratory scientist.
