I am the Alstom ETCS technical manager leading the trackside technical team for the delivery of the Tranche 2 concept design stage 2 as part of the Digital System project scope of works.I was the Interface Manager and Technical Director for the Digital System project in Sydney. I am a ETCS Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing technical support and tactical guidance such as System Integration or Interoperability to enable successful delivery of key elements of the project.I was previously leading the ETCS On-board Engineering team in Alstom providing guidance and mentorship to the team members and defining the necessary plans to grow the team competencies according to the business model to successfully improve productivity, performance and team motivation.I was the Project Engineer Manager for the ETCS Level 2 Pilot Line successfully delivered for TfNSW in 2015. I was leading the technical team, from preliminary design to final validation and delivery, for both trackside and on-board ETCS sub-system and also System integration for the complete delivery as part of the project scope.I have actively contributed and supported the business, both in Siemens and Alstom, to grow and establish the engineering framework and organisation in Australia to provide efficient local support during the complete lifecycle of project delivery. I was responsible for developing the TfNSW's Verification and Validation strategy for the ETCS On-board subsystem and its integration as a System (track-train) in Sydney, Australia as part of the ETCS project AP1.I was an integral part in the implementation of ETCS/ERTMS Level 1 and Level 2, leading to the verification and validation of multiple signalling projects for the Spanish railways operator and administrator (ADIF and RENFE), which covered in excess of 800 kilometres of track and 200 On-board systems.I am an expert in verification, validation, design, development and deployment of railway safety critical signalling systems, particularly the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) for both On-board and Trackside equipment.A dynamic, experienced and resourceful professional with 20 years of experience acquired on a variety of projects in Europe and Australia with a well-balanced career path across private and government organisations.
