Administer the landholder duty provisions of the Duties Act (NSW) for acquisitions in landholding entities with land values greater than $2m. I undertake investigations to ensure tax payers are complying with their obligations and lodge all relevant information to finalise cases.

My role in Product, Service & Compliance is to analyse and interpret transactions for stamp duty liability within the provisions of the Duties Act NSW (1997).My core activities involved:- Promotion of Office of State Revenue Digital Transformation with a particular focus upon Property Revenue Group transition to an e-Conveyancing platform;- Extensive frontline customer service;- Inbound call centre managing enquiries regarding all facets of stamp duty legislation and OSR evidentiary requirements.My role in the Digital Transformation project involved:- Business tester participating in user acceptance testing for an upgrade of business systems from a desktop environment to online environment;- Business tester involved in NSW Government initiative to phase out refunds issued via cheque to refunds deposited via EFT in nominated accounts. Project was delivered to deadline of 1st January, 2016;- Utilised Atlassian JIRA for all issue tracking and management, ongoing engagement with developers to ensure technical solution was implemented correctly and satisfied business use;- Business system expertise took on the role of super user to provide ad-hoc training, troubleshooting and product support;- Business tester for ATO third party data collection project, involved testing of upgraded business system to allow reporting of foreign buyer data for FIRB compliance. Project delivered to strict deadline of 1 July 2016;- Business tester for abolition of various stamp duties including shares in private companies, mortgages, business assets and statutory licences per IGA. Project delivered to strict deadline of 1 July 2016.-Business tester for Tax Risk Management (TRM) project, consisting of extensive regression testing of the entire duties product suite. As part of team of five testers, the project was finished 2 1/2 weeks ahead of schedule.
