As a mental health and psychosocial support officer, I am dedicated to providing counseling and treatment for individuals experiencing mental illness, as well as offering psychosocial support to those in emergency situations. With a strong background in both clinical and community-based settings, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals in crisis and am committed to helping them overcome these obstacles.My experience includes providing individual and group therapy, conducting mental health assessments, and developing and implementing treatment plans. I am skilled in a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, Interpersonal therapy, and trauma-informed care.In my current role at International Medical Corps, I work closely with individuals and families affected by emergencies to provide them with the support they need to rebuild their lives.
