Supply Chain Engineering and Information Management

Served as the DoD Subsistance Chief Executive Officer responsible for the arrangement and execution of inter-Service support agreements and functions, management of Armed Services Subsistence war reserve material (valued over $200M), Strategic National Stockpile, Operational Rations (OPRATS) manufacturing, and global distribution, and coordination with other governmental organizations to include FEMA, USDA and USAID for support of global humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.The Supply Chain annually provides more than $9 billion worth of food and equipment through 3rd party logistic contracts and the life cycle management of operational rations for America’s warfighters and other valued customers worldwide. Under my leadership I increased profits from $2.4B to $3.2B and an on-time-delivery of rations globally from 40% to 90%. To accomplish this mission, I oversaw a global workforce of approximately 320 civilian and military personnel, and over 500 long term contracts.

Responsible for over 20 multi-disciplined units (3600 military personnel) conducting distribution, transportation, and supply chain management operations across the entire US, Afghanistan, and Liberia. Supervised all aspects of leader development, technical training, material and readiness management, and operational logistics planning and execution. Built and led teams for strategically planning of future logistics operations; coordinating and synchronizing the movement of all personnel and equipment in and out of theaters.

Responsible for the leadership and operational oversight of over 100 personnel in two major logistics organizations that provided distribution, maintenance, supply, ammunition, and transportation support to military units stationed across Iraq.
