Applications I developed include: a program to process early ballot requests at remote (satellite) locations; a web service application; a program to process online early ballot requests; a user control to view images stored in binary format inside our Sybase database or located in a shared directory as TIF files; web applications in ASP.NET with AJAX controls. In addition to software development I was responsible for researching best practices and patterns for enterprise applications and service oriented architecture. The online ballot request application was a team effort where my contribution to this particular project was implementing the business logic of the solution making it accessible as a web service through .NET Remoting that was later upgraded to WCF (Windows Communication Foundation).
