Hi! I'm Abel Saj, a dual major in Computer Science and Statistics at UNC Chapel Hill, focusing on data science and machine learning. My academic foundation and hands-on experience allow me to explore the intersections of data analytics, machine learning, and computational solutions. Currently, I’m a research assistant at UNC’s Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, where I’m implementing machine learning algorithms to improve neurofeedback study predictions and analyzing raw EEG signals to support advancements in ADHD diagnosis.Previously, as a Data/Machine Learning Engineer at Webacy, I worked on refining smart contract vulnerability categorization, increasing accuracy in high-risk contract profiling by 20%. My project experience also includes building predictive models like a decision tree classifier that achieved an 88% accuracy in market share predictions.With strong skills in Python, SQL, Java, and various data science and machine learning frameworks, I’m driven by a passion for harnessing data to solve complex problems and drive decision-making.
