I started consistently writing around the age of 13. My writing has mostly served as an outlet and a reflection of my life's experiences telling my family's stories and my own as a first-generation US citizen. But it wasn't until college that I was exposed to writing for TV and film. During my time in school and thereafter, I've written multiple full-length plays, full-length screenplays, television pilots, 1-act plays, and 10-min plays.After moving to LA from Phoenix, I became heavily involved in the Los Angeles poetry community, where I've performed at Da Poetry Lounge in Hollywood both in-person and virtually. I've had the opportunity to attend and perform at the Kennedy Center Arts Festival 3 times, introducing new works and working with writers throughout their processes. I've even performed in a piece titled "Homeward LA" that raised $3k in one weekend, contributing to the overall $100k collected for LA's transient populations. I genuinely believe acting has taught me to become a better writer and vice versa.Currently, I work as a Production Associate & Data Analyst for Randstad, where I've supported the storytelling efforts of FOX Sports. Through the development of a machine learning program, I've streamlined their production and editing processes to condense games into custom clips efficiently and effectively. Here, I've also utilized my creativity to advise on product designs and produce a short video pitch for the board to showcase the program's return on investment.Life is about the opportunities you create for yourself and the joy the journey produces while finding them.
