Manager – Business development and Operations Jan’ 10 – Mar’ 12 Responsible for managing Defence clientele including Air Headquarters (Ministry of Defence), Defence PSU’s and DRDO Laboratories. Also oversaw operations for all 4 units of the company. Business Development:-• Assisted CEO with formation of a manufacturing alliance with Russia’s biggest manufacturer of lighter-than-Air equipment, for hemispherical inflatable structures. This reconnaissance equipment is valued at over $50 million.• Created market entry strategies and negotiating price contracts with distribution agents for anti-corrosion products imported from Belgium, resulting in a 30% growth in sales in 2 years.• Led marketing team in setting up a manufacturing collaboration agreement with Spain’s largest overhead crane manufacturer, and supplied equipment worth $10 million in FY 2010-11.Operations:-• Led execution efforts of 4 Aircraft Arrester Barrier Systems (AABS) worth $4million and responsible for 22 % of the overall company’s revenues.• Strengthened marketing efforts and developed steady revenue streams with Italian material handling conglomerate, which resulted in revenues of over $2 million in FT 2010-11.• Negotiated 3 year work contract with company’s labour union which represented over 200 workmen.

JOHN GALT INERNATIONAL The company is focused on manufacturing and supplying critical systems for the Indian defence industry. Started Procialize as a student out of the Indian School of Business. Procialize creates mobile apps for conferences and exhibitions, besides also providing marketing communication solutions for corporate clients.

President – Energy, Manufacturing and Operations Club- Was Head of event for Swavalamban – III Defence conclave, which was attended by senior officials from the Defence Ministry, defence original equipment manufacturers, senior officers of the armed forces and students of ISB. Executed an entrepreneurial ‘Business event mobile app’ venture – Created a framework and led a team of 4 partners in developing the specifications and working with ISB as well as Angel Investors in funding the project. Created a ‘Go to market’ strategy for a Patent Management Company– Identified opportunities of enhancement of brand identity and devised a strategy to a subsidiary of a reputed law firm, as part of ISB’s consulting projects.
