Senior Data Analyst
Current●Lead analyst teams of up-to 4 members in 5 projects; ensure completion of deliverables, create timelines, delegate tasks, help plan project FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) for analysts and manage partner expectations●Write and review R code for harmonizing data, implementing quantitative models, and generating visualizations using datasets in K-12 education containing up-to 100 million observations.●Use statistical methods such as value-added growth models, propensity-score matching, survival analysis and predictive models to evaluate policy and program effectiveness ●Communicate analysis findings and data characteristics internally to data strategy team members and research scientists to scope and develop analysis plan; communicate analysis methods, metric definitions and data processing procedures to partners externally●Supervised summer analyst interns and part-time analysts; played the role of lead technical trainer for the cohort of analyst interns in Summer 2022●Co-lead DEI Team comprising of team members from different functional teams and executive team; create agenda for and facilitate meetings, coordinate 4 committees working on different strategic initiatives and direct general team strategy
