My responsibilities include:- 3D Design Development and Prototyping: Overseeing the creation and iteration of 3D models and prototypes.- Product Design and Architecture Planning: Developing comprehensive design plans and architectural frameworks for the robots.- Coordination and Communication: Effectively liaising with electronics and software teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements.- Team Management: Leading a team consisting of one designer and two interns, providing guidance and oversight.- Design Methods and Guidelines: Establishing and maintaining design methodologies and guidelines to standardize processes.- Experimental Setup Design: Creating and setting up experimental environments for actuation and sensory testing.- CAD Data Management:Managing and organizing CAD data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.- Research: Conducting ongoing research to drive innovation and improvement in robotics design and development, including researching new actuators and manufacturing methods.- Supplier and Logistics Communication: Communicating and negotiating with suppliers and logistics for parts and actuators to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Design Package Battery 3D CAD and Drawings using NX for products like Iphone, Apple Watch, Airpods, Mac and Ipads.Manage and ensure all drawings are as per the Cell Safety compliance and have proper GD&T for manufacturing and assembly.Create and manage Tableau Book of Battery Development Parameter Data and their relationship.Use Teamcenter and Agile tools including Radar, etc. to manage Design data and process. Perform CT scan for Battery Quality Test.

Managed the PPF product to cover design, release, assembly, testing, and develop warranty claim guidelines. Also, worked with PPF manufacturer XPEL and Rivian Teams to develop better assembly practices and better protect target damage-prone areas.- Developed a new Design BOM system for efficient CAD data storage which mitigated the problem of reworks and redesigns of parts from the start when making modifications.
