CurrentI am currently pursuing an MBA with a specialization in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Iโm gaining practical experience in the Shipping and Logistics sector through an ongoing internship in freight forwarding. As I continue to learn, this role is providing me with a strong foundation in the complexities of global logistics.At BlueLine Freight Forwarders, Hyderabad I am actively involved in the export freight forwarding process for both air and sea shipments, working with major shipping liners such as Maersk, MSC - Mediterranean Shipping Company, Hapag-Lloyd, PIL, and Evergreen. While the learning curve is steep, I am currently focused on understanding the entire freight forwarding process, which requires careful attention to detail and coordination.My responsibilities include:1. Analyzing a freight forwarding process by the method of Shipment Tracking Analysis.2. Learning the end-to-end shipment process, as it takes time to grasp the intricacies involved in freight forwarding.3. Handling a couple of shipment bookings under supervision, while gaining confidence in managing carrier schedules and routes.4. Understanding the incoterms and the key functions and understanding how the terms how it between export and import process in aspect of buyer and seller in both air and sea sea shipment.This internship is giving me hands-on experience with real-world logistics operations, helping me to build a solid foundation in freight forwarding process in the departments of booking.
