Current- Promoted to Editor of the US manufacturing and transportation team that comprises 11 members.- Successfully implemented the S&P 500 expansion project that involved initiating coverage of many companies and sectors that were hitherto untouched. The project was important for Reuters and LSEG, the news agency’s biggest customer. The goal was achieved while managing attrition and manpower crunch even as my team took on the biggest chunk of new companies.- Improved coverage across sectors such as aviation. The team now handles the biggest breaking corporate news in coordination with colleagues across the globe.- The team also produced many smart initiative stories across sectors under my guidance.- Trained and mentored tens of new reporters on basics of covering business news.- Currently overseeing expansion of coverage into areas such as air-taxi makers.- I place great emphasis on mental health and providing growth opportunities to people who work with me.
