I worked in a Kerala government autonomous organisations called ICFOSS, 1 Year I have completed as an apprentice then again work 3 months as an paid intern in the field of IoT embedded system technology open hardware. I have worked in some other areas in different places and companies but the subject IoT Technology is the only subject that keeps me obsessed to develop many skills and learn many more about the hardware side in the best way. I have learned, Structural building in the hardware,hardware designing, 3D and 2D model designing , project drawing PPT making in hardware side, product assembling, 3D model designing and printing, basic C++ and the C programming. A project I handle many times is an automatic weather station, actually that project gives me the ideas to give more input on the hardware side. I have learnt the sensors which are helping in the automatic weather station also the sensors which are used and how it works and the troubleshooting. The weather station parameters are wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, pressure and the rain gauge. The rain gauge is another project but it is also included and integrated with an automatic station to collect the data of the volume of rain in the area of the weather station station stands. This project is developed for the disaster management of Kerala to study the micro climate parameters. The most important part was we can visualise parameters from anywhere using an official URL, an open sources web page called grafana. ULP LoRa is the sensor used to integrate all parameters. The sensor also develops in our research and development open hardware lab. All this information is uploaded on the ICFOSS website.
