All throughout my career, I have supported organizations to grow, while being fully aware that a strong leader needs an even stronger team to achieve remarkable results. I value commitment and passion for our joint goal: supporting SAP's commitment to close the digital skills gap and tackle some of today's most pressing challenges such as youth unemployment. The Fourth Industrial Revolution brings major disruptions to labour markets. New categories of jobs are emerging, partly or wholly displacing others. The skill sets required in both old and new professions are changing in most industries and transform how we work. Five years from now, over one-third of skills (35%) that are considered important in today's workforce will have changed. In a recent survey on skills for digital transformation by SAP, 64% admit to not having the skills necessary for Digital Transformation. This development makes training and enablement more important than ever. Change won't wait for us: we all need to be proactive in order to make the most out of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. By building and fostering public-private-academic partnerships with the SAP Training and development Institute, I was able to help many young talents finding their way into employment and at the same time support SAP's customers and partners in finding the right skilled talent they need to thrive in the Digital Era.
