Was responsible for distribution cost control related activities including BIDT audit and processing, reconciliation analysis for identifying pricing discrepancies etc. followed by redressal actions for both the distribution and PSS cost. Drove the GDS abuse detection and ADM process, proper PSS and Distribution cost provisioning and facilitated the global cost of sale accounting and reporting process. Responsible for managing distribution related data analysis support etc. for larger departmental projects.

Served as a business analyst and application administrator for a complex in-house system which was used to house network passengers transiting Doha in contracted hotels and had multiple layers to handle multiple business functions of the STPC operations including network stations (to raise STPC requests), hotels (to receive bookings and raise invoices), airport operations (to dispatch pax and to process ad-hoc STPC requests from transit pax), customer care access (to handle pax complaints) and finally finance I2P (to handle hotel invoice). Handled system enhancements for evolving business models (biz requirements, user stories, UAT), budgeting for STPC cost, hotel inspection and contracting, procurement process for STPC voucher stationary, cost control, room utilisation optimisation, stakeholder management (hotels, airport hub operations, finance, IT, procurement). Responded, resolved and catered to queries from entire airline network.Over 5 years, I rose through the ranks quickly starting off as acting STPC-coordinator to STPC officer.

Fielded all reservation, pricing, groups and sales related queries as sole inside sales support for multiple sales accounts in entire Trivandrum (TRV) market and outlying areas. Handled all tele-sales, e-marketing for Agency and corporate customer base for the market. Derived on a regular basis, extensive reports, strategic market insights and agent specific KPIs from multiple data sources (revenue, MIDT and BSP data.) Assisted in pricing benchmarking efforts with the pricing department.

Euro Travels was a small family managed business with some dedicated clientele (primarily driven by repeated business from small local business establishments, manpower consultants and individual customers (FIT and VFR)). I was responsible for handling some of these business accounts as well as loyal individual customers and I specialised in offering personalised customer service, travel advise and support contributing to high customer retention.
