Throughout my tenure, my responsibility has been to frame result-oriented business generation plans to attain pre-designated profitability/revenue estimates. Meanwhile, I had defined the business growth strategy and drove its implementation by leading, managing, and monitoring all activities to achieve short and long-term profitable sales, financial, operating and brand objectives.Further, my emphasis has always been on spearheading a team of 4 Sales Managers, 4 TSMs, and 50 Sales Officers and held responsible for the Mortgage Business Number in the region which covers 5 major districts in South Kerala.Moreover, I direct Mortgage Business (Home Loan and Non-Home Loan) through the branch network - 45 branches across 5 districts and Open Market Business through Direct Sourcing Agents, Direct Sales Team, and Connector Network. Develop and strengthen the distribution in the region.

Mortgage department

While working as AVP, my accountabilities were to supervise a team of 18 employees for the Asset & Liability business of the branch. I strongly focused on new customer acquisition and revenue generation from revenue vectors – Wealth/Fee Products like Mutual Funds, Insurance Life/General/Health, Credit and Debit Cards, and Forex Products.Roles required me to lead Asset products like Retail and Corporate SME loans, Home Loans, Loan Against Property, Agri Loans, Credit Cards, Vehicle Loans, etc. Headed branch operational/statutory functions, digitization of existing accounts, control on depletion, and account digitization.Further to this, I monitored various sales channels like acquisition, wealth, customer service, etc., and ensured CASA and book growth of the branch in terms of acquisition value and deepening.In addition, I oversaw credit appraisal process of Secured Loans - SME Loans, Mortgage Loans, Agri Loans, Business Loans, etc. Prepared and maintained pre and post-sanction documentation, and managed post-disbursal customer relationship.

At Tata Capital Financial Services, I was hired by the corporation to lead a team of 4 Sales Officers and 20 Direct Sourcing Agents responsible for Mortgage business in North Kerala districts based out of Calicut.

I was promoted as Money Market Dealer - Treasury – Mumbai, to administer CRR/SLR Maintenance, deployment/borrowing of funds in Money Market Platforms like Call/Repo/CBLO/Term Money. Managed investments in various instruments like MF, CD, etc. Liquidity Forecasting and Asset Liability Management.Over my tenure, I Accomplished profit target from trading in various Central/State Gov. Securities, CDs/CPs, and Equities in primary and secondary markets in conversant with FIMMDA/RBI/CCIL guidelines. Generated reports on various parameters and ensured timely submission to MD Office/ Head Treasury and Other Senior Officials.Before this, as Senior Manager - Branch Manager, I supervised 23 members team for branch business - asset, liability, fee products, and administrative functions in the assigned branch. Headed Sales Channel, Fee products Channel, NRI Channel, and Retail Asset Group and generated required productivity from all the branch verticals.I was involved in branch-level sanctioning of Mortgage Loans, Business Banking Loans, Agriculture, Allied Activity Loans, etc. preparation of Credit Process Notes, and monitoring of account conduct. Adhered to statutory requirements of the branch and ensured timely submission of required statements to concerned authorities.

At HDFC Bank Limited, my accountabilities were to lead a team of Sales Officers and Direct Sourcing Agents. Besides, I ensured the achievement of the budgeted target for Agriculture -Direct Agri and Indirect Agri Loans, SME Loans; commodity finance products like Warehouse Financing, Project Loans, Business Banking Loans, etc. in North Kerala and South Kerala markets. Attained cross-sale targets like Life Insurance, General Insurance, CASA & Deposits along with the asset disbursals
