Title: A planetary chamber to investigate the thermal and water cycle on MarsThesis: https://www.diva-portal.org/smash/record.jsf?pid=diva2%3A1633402&dswid=4483• Led end-to-end project development of a thermally controlled vacuum chamber for testing ESA's ExoMars HABIT instrument (the first Swedish instrument to be placed on the surface of Mars), ensuring compliance with ECSS guidelines.• Successfully commissioned vacuum chamber within the allocated 1,200,000 SEK budget, achieving 5% cost savings through effective negotiation with international manufacturers and suppliers. Produced engineering calculations and utilized Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed and precise technical drawings for the chamber.• Orchestrated testing and qualification phases, raising TRL of critical components inside the chamber. Implemented and validated Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations to investigate thermal behavior within the chamber under various operating scenarios, ensuring optimal performance and safety.• Served as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, delivering regular updates, and technical reports, and facilitating constructive discussions. Acted as a liaison with the engineering team, manufacturers, and suppliers to address any challenges and ensure smooth project execution.• Demonstrated problem-solving skills during instrument design, qualification, and calibration in a controlled clean room environment. • Contributed to successful stratospheric balloon launches and rover testing, resulting in 13 peer-reviewed journal publications and 18 conference abstract presentations (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=vFd4JfsAAAAJ).
