Our primary objective is to provide a world-class guest experience, marked by exceptional food, beverage offerings, and top-tier service, all within the vibrant and culturally rich atmosphere of the Calgary Stampede.My leadership has driven numerous strategic initiatives that have yielded record-breaking results in guest satisfaction, employee engagement (as indicated by annual survey data), and financial performance, including increased revenue and net profit. This success is rooted in meticulous planning, thorough preparation, and the recruitment and retention of an exceptional management and front-line team.During peak operations, this portfolio demands the supervision of 10 direct reports, 30 additional managers, and a workforce of over 400 front-line staff, collectively serving well over 50,000 guests during the ten days of the Stampede.I've established strong working relationships with key supporting departments, such as Sales, Marketing, Sponsorship, People Services, Business Services, and our on-site Trades department, which have played a pivotal role in my accomplishments.Furthermore, I take on additional leadership responsibilities in supporting the year-round food and beverage team, overseeing the operation of Canada’s 2nd largest tradeshow and convention facility.
