Integrated Optum Benefits APIs with three different source systems for the UCEE project, enabling push-based notifications for myuhc.com’s 10 million+ Medicare users.Re-platformed the existing monolithic Eligibility APIs to microservice-based APIs, helping reduce the P95 login times for myuhc.com users to sub-second levels.Navigated through complex business logic to redesign APIs that interacted intricately with both legacy and modern upstream systems, providing a standardized, highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and resilient API layer for downstream applications while reducing P99 response times to under 200 ms (from 1s) for traffic up to 500 TPS.
