Mechanical Design and Manufacturing of Uncrewed Aircraft projects.

1. Worked on various projects on a formula-style racecar to compete in the FSAE Michigan competition.2. Main Projects include Front and Rear Wing, Manufacturing bodywork, Material selection, Material testing, Thermal design, cantilevered beam testing, three-point bend testing, pitot tube mounting, and soldering.3. Validated and improved the geometry of the airfoil shape of the wing using data from CFD software.4. Performed physical testing such as cantilevered beam testing, three-point bend testing, and tensile testers and set up mathematical models to determine the strength and durability of different types of arrangements of carbon fiber. 5. Manufactured aerodynamic devices like the front and rear wings, side pods, side tunnels, underbody, and bodywork. 6. Designed a system for a pitot tube to measure the speed of the wind flowing above the car.7. Designing and machining special molds to manufacture carbon fiber parts. 8. Developed a strong sense of problem-solving and implementation of the engineering design process

1. Responsible for providing orientation and acclimatizing incoming engineering students at UBC2. Facilitated activities and sessions for the 5 Day program, JumpStart. Activities included but were not limited to icebreakers, campus tours, and introduction to university.3. Facilitated 35 incoming students, and was responsible and accountable for the timely delivery of each session and activity.

During my time as a Senior Orientation Leader, I engaged in a multifaceted role that involved significant administrative work, event management, and leadership responsibilities. Key aspects of my role included:Administrative and Event Management: I was actively involved in the behind-the-scenes aspects of event planning, demonstrating strong organizational skills in scheduling, coordinating resources, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the smooth execution of orientation events.Leadership and Team Supervision: My role required me to lead and manage large groups, providing me with substantial experience in team leadership. This involved motivating team members, effective communication, and resolving any conflicts, thereby ensuring efficient and cohesive team operations.Interviewing and Selection: A unique responsibility of my position was conducting interviews for prospective Orientation Leaders. This aspect of the role allowed me to develop skills in talent assessment, interviewing techniques, and making informed selection decisions, contributing to the building of a competent and dynamic team of Orientation Leaders.Overall, this experience has significantly enhanced my capabilities in administrative management, leadership, team supervision, and recruitment, preparing me for advanced roles in organizational and event management.
