As the Business Partner for Retail and Wealth Technology. I am responsible for overseeing a total expense base of $1bn in technology costs. The role involves providing support to and coordinating with Business, IT and Finance stakeholders. As the Business Partner my role involves supporting the Retail Bank, Business and Private Bank and Digital ChannelsMy key areas of focus are:- Managing monthly results including reporting and analysis across multiple divisions- Forecasting & Budgeting across multiple divisions as required (quarterly forecast cycle & annual budgeting exercise)- Managing a team of 4 Reports (Mangers & Analysts)- Enhancing transparency of IT costs to ensure that all stakeholders understand their cost base- Working with Project teams to understand the impact of the all initiatives this includes costs and benefits- Managing productivity initiatives and ensuring that multi million dollar productivity targets of are met- Working out funding options for Business Initiatives by coordinating with various stakeholders

Grant Thornton Australia Limited (GTAL) is one of the top 10 accounting firms in Australia. GTAL has a consolidated team of 700 FTE and across 5 offices in Australia with a combined turnover of $150 million. As the first Group management accountant my role involved:-Management reporting, which involved development of the a consolidated management reporting process and coordination of all 5 finance teams to provide consolidated monthly results-Implemented and managed the first consolidated budgeting process across all of GTAL. This involved creating templates to ensure consistency as there was no single accounting systems.Coordinating the process, including development of timelines and milestones, review procedures and up skilling of finance personnel as required-International reporting which involved providing performance details and analysis on a quarterly basis to Grant Thornton International-Process development and improvement which involved analysing current processes, discussing impacts with all stakeholders and suggesting improvements if required-KPI development which included developing a KPI dash board across the firm (as no performance metrics were in place). The task involved developing performance measures that were comparable between all offices and setting up a process of consolidation and reporting to the Leadership.

Travel Port (a US based company) is one of the largest distribution platform for Airline ticket sales. The company works with a majority of airlines (domestic & international) and has a presence in over 100 locations. As the Vendor pricing / Decision support analyst my role involved:-Modelling of deals assisting Sales Directors to understand financial impacts of new and renewal of contracts with Airlines-Quarterly forecasts of all airline revenue. This involved calculating revenue yield for airlines. Reviewing trends to ensure forecast revenue yields are in line with actual results to improve the accuracy of revenue forecasts and assist in revenue management.-Monthly Variance analysis which involved performing monthly analysis to interpret financial results for the Asia Pacific region-Providing financial advice and analysis as and when required by different areas of the business in relation to CAPEX investment and business development
