In this role I managed a portfolio of 30 local, national and international accounts providing financial management and support in creating and developing systems to improve the productivity of client finance functions. I managed monthly close processes and policies to improve efficiencies and automate tasks in accounts receivable and accounts payable.Acting as expert in digitising company processes and procedures, I improved how accounts were managed across the company. I also worked with internal and external auditors during review to ensure compliance to requests. Managing monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, I recommended changes to improve cash flow. Additionally, I coached junior accountants and allocated work to optimise performance across the team.

I managed a portfolio of 30 accounts including sole traders, partnerships, charities, limited companies and limited liability partnerships ensuring compliance to IFRS And GAAP standards. Duties included preparing management accounts, book keeping and VAT services. I also managed month end, statutory accounts and analysed financial statements.I provided assistance and training to junior members of staff to develop their expertise. One of my main achievements was bringing the b books up to date for 3 clients that had a 4 year backlog within 12 months.

Here I managed a team of 9 and budget of €393m in the roll out and management of a series of national e-governance projects on behalf of the Ministry of Finance. This included leading FP&A across over 12 major projects, uploading information to a new centralised public fund management system and training over 40+ staff in how to use the new system.Providing FP&A expertise in analysing project expenditure and activities, I ensured projects kept within budget and complied to agreed standards. In 2017 I led roll out of new single tax rate across all 28 states with over 420,000 service points ensuring integrity of data and standardised processes and procedures.Additionally, I prepared financial statements, managed internal audits and developed internal controls to streamline and automate processes and procedures. I ensured compliance to IFRS, GAAP and other national rules and regulations. I also managed the audit team and liaised between auditors and management.

I managed a team of 4 and budget of €1.9m for this publicly listed company importing and distributing marble products. I managed month end close, identified overdue accounts and initiated collection procedures. I also recommended improvements to financial controls and processes to improve compliance and generate efficiencies.

Here I prepared balance sheets, financial statements and managed a wide range of accounting procedures for this leading hardware and software retailer.
