A visionary with a proven track record in starting and running successful ventures, he masters in the field of strategy, people management, innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership skills. He is a Civil Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Construction Management from XIME. An alumnus of IIM Calcutta specializing in Finance and Marketing, he is also a fellow of Cornell University in Management. His core strengths lies in areas of Strategy, Innovation, Growth, Leadership, Financial planning & deal making. Having two decades of industry experience working with some of the global firms, Abhishek found his passion in development and project managing luxury real estate and infrastructure projects. Partnering with some of the best in global designing and planning under his vision, he has worked on high end uber luxury projects including international hotel brands like The St Regis, The W, Westin and Marriott. He has held leadership position with the one of the largest real estate development conglomerate – ABIL, in the area of uber luxury infrastructure and designing. He has also worked with one of the largest Hedge funds Ochziff now Sculptor managing some of the biggest real estate investments & projects development comprising of large IT parks, High end residential developments, hotels to name a few. His newest venture “Covie” which he co-founded in January 2020 is a startup in area of premium student housing, Co-living and Senior living. The venture operates 1500 beds across India and is geared up towards a 10,000 bed expansion in the next 60 months. The brand as on date stands as one of the leading players in premium co-living in the sub-continent. A leader who leads from the front, Abhishek has been a coach and mentor to many in his industry, who have realised their true potential under his leadership. A family man residing in Bangalore, an avid reader, a music lover and an experiential traveller, Abhishek has a spiritual side as an associate of Brahmakumaris and believes in giving back to the society as his core purpose of life.
