With over 10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, I am a strategic sourcing manager at Mahindra Group, a leading multinational conglomerate. I am a certified value analysis and value engineering (VAVE) specialist, and I enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that align with the organization's vision and goals.In my current role, I lead the strategic sourcing function for indirect procurement, covering categories such as IT, marketing, travel, and professional services. I am responsible for conducting market research, supplier sourcing, request for quotation (RFQ), contract negotiation, and vendor management, as well as monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators and savings metrics. I have successfully implemented several initiatives to improve the efficiency, transparency, and simplicity of the procurement function, such as creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, standardizing policies and procedures, and conducting training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
