Production Planning Supervisor
Current• Creating and executing schedule for Production and Operations.• Liaison with Purchase, Sales, Production, Logistics and Quality to plan and maintain production schedule. • Forecast and plan material requirements and lead times within standard material costs.• Working closely with purchasing for procurement of RAW material and packaging supplies by providing short term and long term forecast of material demand of existing and new SKU’s. • Engaging actively with product development to introduce new products and maintaining database for BOM’S. • Staffing lines and labor plan with HR to meet target and ensure on-time. • Analysis of incoming order data providing early capacity warning to Sales and Production and ensure resolution is achieved. • Adjusting production schedules to meet changing demands within the guidelines of lead times, labor planning, packaging and ingredient availability. • Actively participating in SQF meetings and food safety audits to adhere to CFIA regulations. • Engage Production Operations in resolution of both short term (overtime; order delay) and long term (additional shifts; equipment) bottleneck concerns
