As a Software Developer turned Founder, who got into a job in few days of graduating from a tier 3 college (Not through campus placements), I have experienced this industry firsthand and I think I know what works and what doesn't. 🧘🏻I have tried Internships, Notable Certifications, Courses, good grades and every other traditional method of getting a job. 💁🏻If I had to rank them, It would go from Internships being the most useful to Good grades being the most useless 🚶🏻But the most underrated tool for quick placements is definitely networking. Knowing the right people and how to approach them, is really a superpower! 🚀😎And that's why, I am in the process of building the best developer community in India. A community which is both active and helpful to fellow members. 👥👥These are some of my recent achievements 📌🔥- Established a tech community on Twitter and WhatsApp with 15,000+ and 900+ members respectively, in less month.- Conducted seminars and bootcamps for 1000 students, utilizing innovative engagement techniques such as quizzes, live interviews, and portfolio reviews and got positive feedbacks and requests to conduct this again.- Planned and executed community-focused initiatives, including 21-30 day twitter challenges that significantly boosted member participation and skill development.
