I worked for a few months with the investing and venture team of Accel Partners to meet new companies and help existing portfolio companies.

Bicycle AI applies deep learning and machine learning to automate customer service for fast-growing companies.We worked with 8 customers, built cutting edge technology, recruited experienced ML engineers including a Stanford grad, UC Berkeley PHD grad, etc. We shut down the company and returned leftover capital to investors after failing to turn our ML work into a product. ML tech is still too primitive to automate conversations.

I led the product, sales, marketing for two products we built. We raised 2mn$+ from Accel Partners, YCombinator, Hydrazine capital(Sam Altman's fund), and 20+ angels. We worked on many innovative products but like pioneers, we got shot with some arrows on our back. After we couldn't find product market fit for any of our products, we dissolved the company and returned left-over capital.Bicycle AI grew to 8 customers and a team of 20+. Shut down due to tech infeasibility.Grew MobShow app to 100K+ DAUs with 50k+ concurrent users, ~1mn downloads, 4.5 rating on play store in a short period of 120 days.

Joined as the product guy after Ezetap acquired my startup. Short but exciting and challenging stint managing a hardware+software payments product.

Clink was a product in the transaction marketing space with the Gharpay team and investors(Sequoia, Blume, Kae).We built a product that took anonymous consumer transaction data from banks and provided personalized card linked coupons. RBL bank was a customer for whom we increased debit card activation and spends.We introduced two innovations in India:1. Highly personalized offers on the basis of spend category, spend size and spend frequency on cards2. No coupon codes but card linked offers. Customers just needed to swipe their cards for the discount to be applied.Acquired by Ezetap.

Built GharPay to let ecommerce companies collect cash payments. Lots of people can who want to buy simply can't pay online. Accepting cash is the most convenient way to reach out to that segment of the population.Grew revenue to $500k p.a. Increased presence to 1000+ pincodes with nearly 800 clients including some of the biggest internet companies in India. Grew transaction volume to INR 80 crores per annum. Funded by Sequoia Capital, Blume Ventures and Kae Capital. Bought out by Delhivery.
