Engineering operations at REC's wafer, cell and module manufacturing in Singapore. Expertise in new product introduction (NPI), technology transfer, FMEA, 5S, 8D, DOE, SPC and Lean Six Sigma. In my recent role, I effectively managed Contract Manufacturing, addressing vertical integration limitations in the solar value chain. By securing agreements with 10 leading Asian solar manufacturers, I transformed them into backward integrators for REC's cell and module manufacturing. This resulted in 40 MW volume addition (5% of total plant volume) and generated over US$750,000 in downstream profit. Prior to this, I contributed to New Product Development, enabling REC to achieve a US$1 million annual profit through advancements in solar cell technologies such as SE, POCl3, Backside Passivation, SDE Flip, Advanced Metallization, n-type Wafer, and Half-cut PERC cells. I began my journey at REC as a Process Integration Engineer overseeing critical aspects of solar production lines.
