The internship module completed designing of new machines using AutoCAD as follows:• Design and development of Automated Cooling bed, pinch roll and a tail braker, Pulverizer for coal crushing for reheating furnace.• Detailed analysis of rolling and quenching mechanism for TMT manufacturing.• Extensively trained on manufacturing shop floor focusing on both technical and managerial aspects.• It also included understanding the life cycle of the TMT steels from its pre-production to its recycling.• Provided timely, constructive feedback for worker’s work.
