Clients included: Walt Disney Company (Studios, Theme Parks, ABC TV, Consumer Products, and Corporate), HPE-Microfocus, VISA Inc, Warner Bros., MIT Draper Labs, Abbvie Inc., Time Inc. etc.Representative projects: • Developed a business vision and strategy for transforming the FP&A function technology and process enabled by in-memory planning and reporting platform for a global media broadcasting company. Executed on the multi-year roadmap which included business process standardization, chart of accounts simplification, Planning and reporting platform modernization, data mart build, and security model redesign. • Led the end-to-end program for Modernization of Financial Planning Platform at Major movie Studio. Redesigned and modernized a difficult to maintain and inefficient legacy planning architecture to a modern simplified planning platform on IBM Cognos TM1. Included business process simplification as well as application consolidation resulting in a consolidation of 80 planning models to 15 and reduction in forecast cycle times from weeks to days. • Designed a cutting-edge analytics platform for finance to track and analyze post theatrical distribution sales and revenue at Disney Studios driving early insights to Finance leadership (from 1 week to over the weekend after theatrical release).• Led the Data Management & Reporting project in a Hybrid Cloud Architecture for HPE Microfocus divestiture. Responsible for delivering integrated reporting for Sales Performance, CRM, and Financial Performance based on data consolidated from multiple cloud platforms (Oracle Netsuite, Salesforce, Apttus, Callidus Cloud, Zuora, High Radius, and Kyriba). Led the design and implementation of the planning systems, financial data mart and associated analytical reporting. Responsible for scoping, designing and building multi-dimensional planning and reporting models. • Designed and implemented an activity driver based overhead allocations model for a multi billion dollar mortgage company which resulted in 70% reduction in process time. • Implementation of a complex Demand, supply and blend optimization model for Wente Vineyards, Livermore, CA. The demand application included a sales forecast model by 50 Geographic regions, over 200 distributors and 60 products over a multi year time horizon.
