I coordinated our global network of suppliers for 200+ different building products and lead development on the technology stack we use to manage all our suppliers and products. On the supplier relationship side, this includes supplier IDing and vetting, managing inspections and certifications, transportation, shipping and customs. On the technology side, this includes maintaining a realtime database of every product (potential, purchased, received) with all relevant product specs and deep integrations to:1. Revit and BIM360: enabling our design team to test their buildings with actual product selections before publishing drawings.2. Manufacton: enabling our manufacturing team to track orders, lead times and delivery of product, and thereby accurately schedule production.3. In house finance and accounting system to track spend against budget, enable automated POs, Invoicing and Payments.4. 3rd party APIs to book shipping, track relevant customs and duties, currency fluctuations, etc.5. 3rd party supplier databases for realtime updates to pricing, SKUs, lead times, etc.

I ran the technology side of sales and marketing. I designed and developed our website, PPC advertising, social media campaigns, Webinars, CRM system, email and phone systems, and integrated all of the above using the HubSpot platform. This automated lead sourcing, letting our sales team focus their efforts on building relationships with pre-qualified leads and on closing deals. Some key features of our platform include:1. All organic leads organised with transparency into every digital interaction with iBUILT (phone calls, website inquiries, webinar views/comments/questions, social campaign likes/comments/reshares, PPC ad clicks, etc).2. Tracking of intent data from a variety of sources to recommend targeted inorganic leads for potential outreach. Two examples of this — we monitored the sale of undeveloped commercial real estate within target parameters and listed buyers as inorganic leads. We also monitored search traffic across relevant keywords (Offsite construction, construction-tech, etc), used IP addresses to ID where the searches came from, and listed organisations that met target criteria as inorganic leads. 3. Deal pipeline to track every stage of a deal from initial outreach to design development to contract signing with automation at every stage — emails to client, task assignments to internal team members, generation of documents (presentations, contracts, etc) — bringing uniformity to the sales process.4. Tracked key engagement metrics across every marketing activity (leads generated, cost per lead, vitality rate, click through rate, etc) to optimise marketing spend.

I designed and developed early prototypes for an e-commerce platform that would allow users to buy single family residential homes over the internet. The core components of this were a (1) home design studio where users could start with any of our predesigned models and configure them to suit their tastes (2) a land selector through which users could pick any residential lot of land for sale in the US and place their home on it (3) a mortgage calculator through which users could apply and get approved for a mortgage through our financing partners and (4) a checkout process through which a user could finalise a home, land and mortgage and place an order.For this, I conducted user research, developed and tested four successive prototypes before bringing on a software design and development agency to continue the project and get us to launch.

Pillbox is Carnegie Mellon’s Art and Culture Magazine. As its editor, I led a team of writers and designers, and coordinated with artists and photographers to create each week’s edition. I also spearheaded a top down redesign of the publication with brand new layout templates, new copy editing and style guidelines.
