As a budding consulting professional, with an education based in Economics and Mathematics, I aim to establish data driven and scientific methods to consulting, which have immense practical application. Quite naturally, this best extends into the TMT sector and Financial markets, two areas which are incredibly close to my heart. At present, as a Strategy Consultant at Cartesian, I aim to develop a critical understanding of the telecom segment, and optimise solutions for client problems by leveraging data analytics and building tools that work at achieving their targets. My training in Economics and Mathematics has also instilled in me a great appreciation for technical rigour and mathematical astuteness in solving complex problems. An example, my Masters dissertation looked at establishing a threshold Debt level for any company based on their financials using Dynamic Programming - this allows for any firm to utilise the results of the model to base their yearly decisions using their own estimates rather than a supposed optimum. Across my academic journey at LSE, St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, and St. Columba's School, Delhi, I have been recognised by my peers and faculty alike for being a Leader and have held numerous leadership positions in these institutions. Rounding up my professional profile with a sport such as golf as only increased my aptitude for patience, hard work and dedication. Between 2011 and 2014, I have been one of the top ranked junior golfers in India, and have consistently worked on balancing both these facets of my life.
