Future teacher and lifelong humanitarian. Having recently graduated with a Law degree from the University of Chester, I am now a postgraduate student with Teach First in London. I am expecting to jump headfirst into my own classroom come September! With a non-conventional route into teaching behind me, I am looking forward to passing on my experiences to children. These include my varied work experience in the catering business, my volunteering work within educational and non-educational settings and my year long study abroad in America. While studying in Chester, I recieved Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Volunteering Awards and have also recently completed my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. I am also an official dementia friend and spent my final year writing letters to people with dementia. I was also involved with Passion for Learning, a charity organisation who run after school clubs for disadvantaged children. This prompted me to go down the path of Teach First as they are passionate about ensuring that each child receives a fair education.
