 Before starting my final year exams, I secured an internship at Aira, which I started three days after returning home from University During the 12 weeks (with a month's interlude travelling South East Asia) I spent as an intern, I learned everything digital PR, SEO and social media, and quickly got promoted to Digital PR Executive

 Worked for the marketing department in my final year of university, doing data analysis and report writing for student feedback surveys Analysed data to enhance understanding of student opinion to enhance the way the Students’ Union communicates and engages with its audience Promoted the Students’ Union through a structured social media strategy Wrote and shared blogs on different issues that are relevant to the student body Generated ideas for content that fit with the Students’ Union image Worked to fixed brand guidelines and ensured PR was coherent with current communication strategy

 Managed all social media pages, created and adhered to a structured social media strategy, including creating and sharing posts about mental wellbeing regularly, including blogs, photos and videos  Utilised social media to signpost students to welfare services in Nottingham, and to the events held by Student Minds Nottingham on campus Student Minds Notts won ‘Group of the Year’ in 2017, awarded by the national Student Minds organisation for a social media campaign I designed and ran, to gain new followers, ‘which has added to their fantastic social media coverage of student mental health during the year’ Following this campaign, I was requested by the Digital and Campaigns Manager of the national charity to write a guide on how to run a social media campaign, which was sent to all the University branches around the UK Worked with additional external welfare organisations in and around Nottingham to help publicise and signpost to their services Worked closely with Events and Campaigns team to assist in planning, running and publicising in the run up to events Volunteered at Student Minds events such as wellbeing workshops, fundraisers and ‘crafternoons’ Organised a 'Love Your Body' campaign, which ran on social media. As part of this, organised and ran a 'Love Your Body' naked calendar, which raised over £700 for the charity
