• Perform inspection of various operations activities and of supplier produced parts. • Recommends and leads efforts for establishing and sustaining supplier improvement processes. • Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies Supplier Quality management and internal customers as requested of significant problems, and completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities. • Responsible for performing quality evaluations on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions. Identifies and reports non-conformance to known standards using various measuring and testing methods. • Provide technical expertise concerning quality systems improvements, inspection techniques, root cause analysis, and effective corrective action. • Onsite supplier quality systems assessment and evaluation. • Communicate identified process/procedure concerns to Core Teams and broader organization as necessary. Working as a Quality Assurance Officer I was responsible to To identify and developing the processes after discussion with department incharges and document them for the effective implementation of Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2007 and OHSAS 18001:2007). Plan and conduct audits and circulate audit summary reports. Maintain records of Audit Summary Reports and CARs/PARs and conduct proactive follow up for the closeouts of the same to ensure compliance within committed target dates. Ensure that process-owners are made aware of the requirements of developing and monitoring processes in a Management-by-Objectives approach.Analyze the Document Change Requests and share recommendations for improvement with the concerned functionaries.Assist Incharge QA in developing the Monthly Executive Report for 'The State of QUALITY' by collecting data from BAs/BSDs/Projects and analyzing it using quality tools. Incorporate management suggestions and continually look into more innovative and effective ways to improve upon the quality of data for the defined objectives.Support BAs/BSDs/Projects in the manpower and training needs with respect to Quality Assurance and Control processes.
