Duties & Responsibilities• In house configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for major IT issues (user-level & server-level) of LAN-Firewall-DNS including routers, servers, switches, Microsoft and apps, peripheral devices, antivirus etc.• Supervised daily operation & maintenance of hardware, software & communication systems.• Ensure smooth running of all IT operations & services, management, and development of hardware/ software & networks as per agreed service and legal agreement (SLA)• Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.• Protect all network devices from external and internal threats.• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment and devices.• Establishes & maintain record of all IT Assets• Maintain LAN & WAN networks, configuration of Cisco switches/routers at Plant Site• Manage Hardware Fortinet Firewall & Client VPN at PCL Users and Vendor• Maintain Wireless networks (UBNT, EnGenius, Cambium) & long-range wireless links at whole. • Prepare network diagrams and document problems with resolution details for future reference.• Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created.• VMware, Virtualization Servers• Creating and managing IPsec VPNs for clients• Plan and design network enhancement and security.• Creating and Managing User Accounts, Group Accounts and Group Policies in Windows servers 2012 Active Directory.• Configuring and Managing Disk Quotas and File Screening using FSRM• Creating and maintaining the Domain Controllers, Additional Domain Controllers in the server.• Installing, Configuring, Managing and Troubleshooting DNS/DHCP/File services of Windows server 2012.

Duties & Responsibilities• Installation and troubleshooting of KPMG International (Global Desktop 3.2, 4.1 & 5), Troubleshooting diagnoses.• Network related problems management of workstations, different audit software like (Vector 2007, 2008 & 2009ARO, CaseWare, E-Audit 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012),• Maintained Hardware & Software Inventory approximately 1,200 nodes laptopsof KPMG International – Karachi branch)• Active Directory management, IID Creation (New AD & Email Accounts), Vector Activation.• Maintained Information & software KPMG International CD’s Library.• Hardware, software and operation systems support for Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore offices, as well as phone support for remote advisors’ day to day.• Quarterly security audit of user’s machines for inspection of unlicensed and freeware software’s, which are not included in the firms’ policy.• Installing and managed McAfee Endpoint Encryption 5.2.3• Responsible for taking Daily & Weekly Backup of File server with HP DAT72 Tape Drive and transfer backup tapes offsite.
