• Assisting the Managing Partner to develop the vision of the firm and strategies to achieve that vision; setting and communicating the long-term direction of the firm and ensures that the short term goals, objectives and tasks are aligned and adjusted in anticipation and in response to outside forces and internal changes that impact achievement of the firm’s vision and strategies.• Accountable for effecting change and execution of the firm’s strategies as directed by the Managing Partner. Holding the team accountable and working with them to ensure that they are doing the right things.• First line engagement for all commercial transaction matters handled by the firm.• Determination of fees charged by the firm for briefs on a case by case basis. • Managing Retainer relationships to ensure client satisfaction and to secure the renewal of the Retainership on a yearly basis. • Execution of responsibilities assigned to lead associates of the firm as stated below.

• Managerial Role: Leading a team of four associates and ensuring their work is at par with the firm’s standards.• Commercial Litigation: Assisting the Principal of the firm in and leading in various commercial litigation matters in the Federal High Court, the State High Court and the Court of Appeal.• Company Secretarial: Acting as company secretary to several companies ensuring statutory meetings are held within stipulated periods, their returns are up to date and the companies operate within the ambit of the various laws applicable to their business.• Legal Advisory: Legal advisory capacity to Start-ups including companies seeking to do business in Nigeria and companies in international partnerships. • Legal Drafting: To draft legal agreements suitable for clients’ business transactions and ensuring the client is protected. These include Sale Agreements, Agency Agreements, and Entertainment Agreements among others.• Negotiation for and representation of Clients at business meetings• Intellectual Property: Registration of Trademarks, Assisting Client to identify what needs to be protected and how best to obtain protection of intellectual property.• Mergers and External Restructuring: advising and working with Clients through the procedure required by the Securities Exchange Commission. Obtaining court orders in respect of the transaction.

Formulation of operational structures of EANL• Provision of legal advice to the principal officers of the company• Continuous updates of business documentation and agreements in line with changes in the business environment and changes in internal company structures. • Documentation of company procedures and targets• Supervision of the Customer Service Department and continuous monitoring of Customer Service Officers to ensure compliance with company procedures.• Connecting Service Providers to the company and monitoring the business relationships between the service providers and the company.

Legal structuring of a new subsidiary of CDCSL which included: • Provision of expert legal advice to the promoters of the subsidiary• Drafting of Agreements between the Subsidiary and Clients• Legal Compliance Research into the Objects of the subsidiary to align them with the legal requirements of Regulatory Agencies and the provisions of the Laws pertaining to the business of the subsidiary.
