Abigael Bamgboye, MEng, is a social venture professional, with over 7 years of experience in designing and delivering virtual and in-person programmes to help individuals in educational and workplace communities reach their full potential. She applies knowledge of technology, analytics and management to drive social and business outcomes, in global British firms and grass-roots community organisations. Building on her Micromasters credential in Data, Economics and Development Policy (MIT, 2020) and she is a pro bono advisor to international and UK-based social enterprises and charities, leading to the expansion of programmes run by a widening participation charity and increased retention of employees for a women’s economic empowerment enterprise. Between 2016-2020, Ms. Bamgboye led a number of undergraduate student societies including Imperial College London’s Materials Society (700+ members) where she served as Vice President and President over 2 years, and the Royal School of Mines Union (1500+ members) where she served as Regalia Officer. In these roles, Abigael led committees to multiply their revenue streams by up to 3x through obtaining sponsorship and selling branded merchandise, expanding the number of programmes and events students benefited from. Alongside this, Abigael has cultivated a diverse portfolio of digital content production and SEO experience, from leading social media strategy at Ticketpass, a social-impact orientated ticketing company, to reaching an audiences over of 100,000 on YouTube teaching sewing and DIY (2015-2019). She won the Bank of England Scholarship in 2016, the UK Female Undergraduate of the Year Award in 2018 and the Black Impact Entrepreneur’s Award in 2020, alongside numerous Materials Science awards (2016-2020). At Bain & Company, Abigael supported leading British businesses to deliver multi-geography technology and operations transformations in industries including Energy and Utilities, Clean Air, and Industrials.She writes and speaks business-proficient Spanish.
