While studying abroad, executed digital transformation of coastal cleanup data. Data is implemented for the Ocean Conservancy’s “TIDES” (Trash Information and Data for Education and Solutions) project, utilizing citizen science to create the world’s largest marine trash dataset. Data compiled in the TIDES project is imperative for education of the public regarding the impact and dangers of single use waste products, and targets which products are the most abundant in marine pollution.

Directed a team of 16 counselors in small water craft instruction and safety of 850 campers. Created weekly department class schedules and assigned staff. Fostered a relationship of camaraderie and unity. As sustainability coordinator, initiated a composting system, improved current recycling program, and educated staff and campers on the meaning and importance of sustainability.
