I am currently a third-year student at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, pursuing a B.S. in Finance. I am an eager and self-motivated individual, applying to internships throughout the financial services sector. I am primarily interested in credit ratings, portfolio management, and fixed income. I possess the technical skills and communicative abilities to be a valuable asset any team and am eager to establish a career within the finance industry. In seeking admittance and following my acceptance into the UConn School of Business, I have immersed myself in the business culture and taken advantage of every opportunity that would better prepare me for a finance career. I am currently a member of the UConn Women’s Finance Association and Finance Society, building a network of business professionals and peers. I have experienced many hands-on, real-world opportunities to expand my network, enhance my analytical skills, and develop an understanding of the investment landscape. I was recently accepted into the UConn Opportunity Fund Program for the 2024-25 school year– an intensive program to expand my knowledge of financial markets and manage university equity assets amongst a team of students. We currently manage a $350,000 equity portfolio focused on mid and small-cap companies through the appliance of comprehensive investment analysis and various valuation methods (such as precedents and company comparison).
