About Abigail Andersen

I am a graduated (May 2020) BSN nursing student from Biola University. I have had experience in clinical rotations on medical surgical floors, telemetry, wound care, labor and delivery, pediatrics, and behavioral health units and the ICU. I am passionate about women's and children's health as well as community development. I have completed a preceptorship at Hoag Presbyterian Hospital, Irvine on their telemetry unit and ED/CC unit and an internship with women's health in the Philippines. My strengths include a passion for long-lasting positive change, preventative health education, cross cultural engagement, intentional development of patient and family rapport, patient advocacy, a strong commitment to provide high quality care to those in need, and a deep desire to further develop my nursing skills and knowledge.
