Regulatory compliance in Higher Education is an interesting niche with which to be involved. It's a wonderful and small community of individuals across institutions within the United States all working together. It's always interesting to hear how people came into their roles as compliance administrators. My journey has certainly been interesting, and while this is not where I ever thought I would end up I feel like this is where I was meant to be. I feel like my educational and career backgrounds are varied but have given me an understanding on a wide array of topics. I don't like completing projects haphazardly, which is why this role in state authorization and accreditation has been a good fit. It requires attention to detail, effective communication, and process management skills.
