As a current student at the University of Texas, I am studying journalism at the Moody School of Communication, and I hope to learn how to connect my interests to the ever-changing media landscape. To achieve this, I have committed to learning various types of journalism during my time at UT to expand my knowledge. I currently serve as producer for the Drag Audio Production House as a producer and editor on various audio projects. Every month, I also attend the Media Innovation Group’s Data Club, where I gain hands-on experience with data journalism and hear from professionals in the industry. In Spring 2024, I was a general news reporter for the Daily Texan and learned how to go out and write my own stories. I am continuing to write similar work in my classes.
