A focused, high-achieving, and team-driven individual, particularly fascinated by applications of chemistry in the aerospace, formulation and pharmaceutical industries. Currently in my second year of my Chemistry degree at the University of Leeds, I have experience working in the lab, applying my growing knowledge of GLP to my practicals. Combining my detailed analytical interpretations of results with excellent report writing skills, I am conditioned to producing work only of the highest standard. My own research into non-canonical enzymes, climate change, and ethical research principles confirms my interests in finding a role within these fields for my year in industry, and hopefully my future career.Alongside my studies, I work as a swimming teacher and lifeguard part time and I compete in the BUCS netball league with my university, training up to 4x per week on top of my studies.
