Project Leader: Manage New Product Introduction Projects 1. Supplier Mapping & Selection: Select suppliers aligning with category strategy; Find new suppliers for parts with new technology or new need from project and work with the team to qualify the supplier; 2. Product Cost Management: Work with R&D to implement Design To Cost strategy; Negotiate price with supplier to achieve project cost target; 3. Prototype Build Procurement: lead and coach project buyer to prepare components for prototype build in correspondent project stage; 4. Project Transfer: Collect and transfer data to plant; support product pilot run.

Supplier Leader: Manage 10+ OEM suppliers1. Price Negotiation: Lead yearly price negotiation with suppliers using various levers including face to face negotiation, raw material index, lean approach, QVE, etc., and have achieved 4% saving in average on a yearly basis. 2. Business Review: Consolidate business data and organize quarterly business review with suppliers, including performance, business demand and process etc. 3. Delivery & Quality Management: Accountable for supplier on-time delivery and non-conformity level. Animate operation team & supplier for continuously improvement, have achieved 98% service rate and 140ppm quality rate. In the 3rd year of this role, I have successfully mitigated the shortage risk due to Chinese New Year holidays, which our customer had suffered for many years; 4. Cross-BU support: As supplier leader, support business needs from other BUs, and coordinate with suppliers to solve issues. Project Leader: Manage 10+ OEM projects 1. Supplier Sourcing & Assessment: Lead supplier sourcing and complete project feasibility study; Audit supplier to make sure it is qualified for the project. 2. Price Negotiation: Understand project requirement; Negotiate with supplier to achieve project target; Support project manager to finalize project cost including tooling, certification etc. 3. Contract Management: Draft the contract based on global standard version; translate the documents into Chinese when needed; lead the contract discussion & finalize Global Agreement and Exhibits with supplier. 4. Project Transfer: Consolidated the needed project data and transfer it to operation team for massive production.

Manage global eSourcing system: MFG.com & Ariba.com1. Global eRFQ & eAuction Management: Work with category team to define the eSourcing process; Support users to conduct various e-Sourcing activities. 2. Asia Pacific Division Tool Implementation: Implement the tool in India and China, Train users and lead regular review with purchasing teams; successfully implement the tool to 100+ users. 3. IT partner Management: Identify system issues & work with MFG.com / Ariba.com to solve the issues; improve user experience for both buyers and suppliers. Manage Global Supplier Evaluation1. Evaluation process definition: Work with Purchasing Effectiveness team to define the supplier evaluation process to build the recommended supplier list and SOC. 2. Evaluation event implementation: Globally implement the evaluation process; Train the category managers for principles, processes & platform usage.
