About Abigail Coats

I have 5 years' experience of working in Archives in a variety of roles, including secondments to archival projects of national significance: the Topical Press Agency Medical Collection (supported by the Wellcome Trust) and the Breaking New Ground project (supported by the John Laing Charitable Trust).I'm particularly interested in oral history, the history of society and disease, local heritage, community engagement, and volunteer outreach. In 2020 I participated in a work to conduct interviews and develop case studies showing the impact of coronavirus on the heritage sector.
