Abigail has over 10 years of professional experience working with Adult and Geriatric patients as a registered nurse, charge nurse, and preceptor. She specializes in Orthopedic, Medical-Surgical, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT, Plastics Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neurology/Stroke patient populations. Abigail attained a Masters of Science in Nursing Informatics at Excelsior College, and has experience in data collection, analysis, and management through her Masters Capstone project, “Optimizing the Wound Description in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)." She served as Chair of IT Council at Montefiore Medical Center. In high school, Abigail studied visual arts and digital design, using visual concepts to communicate information. She hopes to utilize her clinical and technological backgrounds in order to design, teach, and streamline healthcare to both providers and patients.
