As I work toward my bachelors in Journalism at Florida Gulf Coast University, I am currently working as the Editor-in-Chief of the student-run newspaper, Eagle News. Additionally, I work on the marketing team for the University Library as the writer/editor on a team of four students. Within my role at Eagle News, I oversee a staff of nine editors and assistants, as well as a team of over 20 staff writers. We work to publish daily content on the Eagle News website, and have a monthly print magazine. I oversee and make the final edits to all of the articles published online and in our print magazine.As the University Library marketing team writer/editor, I post daily content on four different social media accounts, write online content for the library website and copyedit the graphics and other posts that are made by our team. I also play a large role in the writing and editing of our semesterly newsletter.
