• Collaborated with Akiak Native Community and University of North Carolina’s Institute for the Environment to provide technical services and create a home environmental health data collection form based on HUD Healthy.
• Conducted home assessments based upon HUD Healthy Homes principles and environmental codes, regulations, and policies, with an interdisciplinary team of construction workers and Tribal leaders in 80 homes in the rural.
• Produced a comprehensive report for the Tribal Council with groundbreaking documentation on housing conditions in Akiak, and provided documentation for future funding opportunities.

Anchorage, Alaska Area

• Managed all financial, communication, technical and programmatic aspects of a HUD Lead Hazard and Healthy Homes grant focusing on respiratory and environmental health for pregnant women. Delivered in-person and remote.
• Directed indoor air quality data collection and analysis projects utilizing Microsoft Access and REDCap and established resulting education campaign materials for Tribal partners.
• Applied and received funding to provide over 360 homes in rural Alaska with fire prevention and protection equipment; coordinated with regional health teams to deploy education to accompany materials.
